Bags to Benches

The Sedro-Woolley Lions Club's Bags to Benches program successfully recycled over 1,000 pounds of plastic bags, transforming them into two benches along the Cascade Trail. This initiative not only reflects the community's dedication to sustainability but also enhances the trail's aesthetics, offering a comfortable seating solution crafted from recycled materials.

SKAGIT TAKES A SWING AT DIABETES

The Sedro-Woolley Lions held our first golf tournament at Avalon Golf Links in 2023. The participation we received from Skagit County residents made a real impact. All profits—100%—go towards diabetes awareness, prevention, and treatment in the community. Join us for a day of golf with purpose.

LOG DRIVE

The Lions Club Foundation is proud to announce we have brought back an old tradition! The Log Drive was originally started in the 1940's and ran into the 90s. The Lions will be selling tickets with the help of businesses and clubs. Each ticket will be a chance to guess the time it will take to float the above log from Marblemount to Sedro-Woolley on July 2nd. The winner will be announced at the Loggerodeo Grand Parade on July 4th.
